To All Friends, Family and Supporters of Japan Indie Artists United

Our charity album, "Solid Ground" will be going offline and not available for sale in just 3 days time, on August 31st, midnight. We thank all of you that have bought the album and those who have made every effort to spread the word of this project. For everyone that still has an interest in this project, and would like to contribute to help all those still suffering in Touhoku, please remember that you only have 3 more days to buy it. The artists have given up their music royalty free for nearly half a year to fully contribute all money made to the Japan Red Cross, and they should all be applauded for being so generous in a business world of music that is often more cutthroat and competitive. So please, if you have been thinking about it or simply forgot about it or are now simply inspired to do it, go to:

http://www.blueorbproductions.net

and please buy this amazing album. Thank you all for your support of Japan and the Independent Music scene of Japan.

Sincerly,

DERON REYNOLDS

Happy New Year from Deron and Yoko at Blue Orb Productions!

2010 was a very good year for us and we want to thank all family, friends and clients around the world helping make it so good. We are excited about 2011, especially about the first ever video by The Geminiac coming out soon and lots of other musical and web-based projects.

Thank you all! And as usual, we have a gift to give. You can check out the 42 (!) new videos uploaded on The Geminiac's youtube channel:

www.youtube.com/thegeminiac

Look for the two playlists on the right. The first is tons of video from when Deron was playing at a top notch resort hotel in Fukuyama. The other are a few highlight songs from a Christmas Party last December.

Enjoy! And sorry for the lateness of our card this year. Since Deron's Hotel gig took up the end of the year up to January 3rd we didn't have as much time as usual to get it out earlier. Love and thanks to you all!

Valentine's Day Gig

February 14th 2010
18:30-21:30

Come and enjoy three sets of romantic music in a moody cafe setting. Unplugged acoustic, cool keyboards, and a full band, with special guest on saxophone.

Simon Yates will kick off with an acoustic set, Deron Reynolds (The Geminiac) will be there bringing you tasty originals and classic covers on the keyboards, before Goodman Bad wraps it up with a full-band set that will up the pace and volume a little.

A very cool saxman, Kura-san, will be guesting at various points in the evening with some searing tenor solos.

The restaurant has a basic range of food and drink for 500 yen cash on, and as it's Valentine's Day, we have arranged a Chocolate Fountain as a special item on the menu, also for 500 yen. This one should be popular with the ladies and children.

Did I say children? Yes, as it's an early evening gig in a residential area, families are welcome with children at reduced admission (prices below). Hopefully, music and fizzy pop will keep the kids occupied and the atmosphere will be still be conducive to providing a classy date night for couples, or just a nice way to enjoy music with a few beers.

Dear family and friends of Blue Orb Productions,

The Noughties were not all for nought, but a new decade is upon us that needs to bring true hope. As always, we aspire to help inspire that hope in all of you. If this last decade has taught us anything, it's that we cannot just wait for others to bring us hope. It is always easier to complain about what other people aren't doing, but be strong and be active, for the TEENS are upon us. And for one glorious decade, we all get to be teenagers again.

Happy Holidays,
Happy New Year,
Happy New Decade
and Love,

Deron Reynolds and Yoko Nakajima of BLUE ORB PRODUCTIONS

P.S.

For those who haven't heard, Yoko and I are now engaged.
Feel like a teenager again already!

A HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Blue Orb Productions wishes you a Happy New Year.
We give the humble gift of a new song by The Geminiac:
COME UNDONE ( 6,878KB )
( To download right click and choose 'save target as' and save to your computer )

Friends, Family and Fans,

A lot has happened in this last year. For many, there was much pain and misfortune that affected us, and I personally went through some personal trials and hardships this year that have transformed my life, but there are signs for hope in this new year.

A song that I hope will remind us all of the will and personal responsibility we will all share to make this a truly new year. Things should never come undone again.

Love and Peace to you all in this year of the Bull. Let us rage on into the brave new future.

-----

COME UNDONE:

I wrote this song during my stay with the wonderful band echostream, and it was originally recorded as a demo for echostream but never got released. I've sat on in it for years now always trying to find somebody to sing it. In the end, I finally broke down and let my own voice tell the story.

Let the lyrics hit you as they may. All I will say is, things in life do come undone. So much around us has come undone, and everyone is ready to start pointing fingers and blaming. But who was it that allowed things to get so far? Think hard, and think deep.... the truth is, you are in control of your own destiny, and you alone control the fibers that keep the universal love and happiness that we need to keep it all together. Let us never let things come undone again.

So long gone
	Can't ever look back again
Back on the run, God what have I done?
Still seeking hope to medicate my pain

I think of things that I've done
Sins of the past still proving me wrong
How'd it all come so undone?
Can't someone, reach out to me?
But they all, stare right through me

So hard to resist,
So hard to lay down your fears
A dirty lie, polluting dirty minds
We strive so hard to make the truth our own

Can't help the things that I've done
Hoping the past will prove me wrong
How'd it all come so undone?
Smoking guns, hide away
Give a smile, for today is .....

Try hard to rest
Too scared to close my eyes
Story inside, always makes me cry
I hope for strength to show you all someday

I think of things that I've I've done
Sins of the past still proving me wrong
How'd it all come so undone?
Can't anyone, look inside me?
	Can't you see, something's dying?

Well, its a three day weekend here in Japan. On Sunday nights, you got two
choices: 1. Force yourself to another night of crazy drinking and clubbing
or 2. Stay home and nurse a hangover.... but what about that wonderful
choice ??? That is, a mellow evening of good blues, jazz, rock and
original tunes by The Geminiac live band @ Murphy's, the best Irish Pub in
Osaka. Really, what better way then a few very good Kilkenny's or
Guinesses, good music, and greasy Fish & Chips is there to get you happily
through that night and still feel good the next holiday morning? Hope to
see you all there!
